Criminal Proceedings (Juror Absence) Bill

Last week in Parliament I introduced a 10 Minute Rule Bill regarding juror absences during a criminal trial, following a constituent raising their personal case with me. The Bill proposes that any criminal proceedings set down for trial should not be adjourned solely due to the absence of a juror.
