WATCH: Bleed Kits for Doncaster Pubs and Clubs

In January 2022, two young people in Doncaster were tragically killed after a night out. Stabbed outside a busy part of the city's nightlife area. Since then, Ryan's Mum, Lisa, has shown extraordinary courage and channelled her energy into being a campaigner for stronger action on knife crime.

Last month, the government set out its strategy to half knife crime within a decade. Last year over 1,400 crimes in South Yorkshire included the use of a knife. When knife crime does occur, the single most preventable cause of death is bleeding.

That's why I'm calling for night time venues in Doncaster to have bleed kits. So that if knife crime occurs, further blood loss can be prevented and lives saved.
