Citizen’s Jury for Health and Harmful Products workshop

It was fascinating to join Ros Jones , Councillor James Church and Rachel Maskell MP at the Citizen’s Jury for Health and Harmful Products Workshop this Saturday at The Point, home of darts - Doncaster Community Arts.

There was an insightful discussion on the impacts of unhealthy products such as alcohol, smoking and ultra-processed foods in Yorkshire and particularly in Doncaster and how this affects public health as well as our high streets and communities.

I will be following up with the organisers on the key points from Doncaster residents who attended and ensuring this is fed through to the relevant government departments.
