WATCH: Whole Life Orders for Those Who Kill Prison Officers

As a former Prison Officer, I am pleased that the government is amending the sentencing bill to include whole life orders for those who kill Prison Officers or Probation officers whilst at work or as an act of revenge.

I'm proud to have spoken in support of this amendment to the Sentencing Bill this week.

I pay tribute to Lenny Scott’s family who have tirelessly advocated for this.
