Friends of Doncaster Sheffield Airport

After the Doncaster Council meeting last week which approved the £57m loan for Doncaster Sheffield Airport, it was great to catch up with Mark Chadwick of the SaveDSA campaign and Friends of Doncaster Sheffield Airport in Bawtry along with Lee Pitcher and Mayor Ros Jones.

As we approach 2026, it was nice to reflect with those closest to the campaign how far we’ve come to reopening the airport, but also discuss the next steps to ensure we have planes flying from Doncaster once again.
