Remembrance tribute in New Palace Yard

Yesterday I planted a tribute in New Palace Yard to honour those from Doncaster Central — and throughout the UK and Commonwealth — who have served and sacrificed in past and present conflicts.

Led by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons with the Royal British Legion, the Constituency Garden of Remembrance serves as a tribute to the lives lost and a reminder that today's freedoms came at a profound cost.
