Doncaster Rovers Dementia Support

Over 4,000 people in Doncaster are diagnosed with Dementia. During today's game against Wimbledon, I learnt about the new Dementia support service the Club Doncaster Foundation are launching to help bring fans with the condition together, and provide respite to families and carers. I spoke to Andrew, who's story about his Dad's condition and the bond they share of going to the Rovers sparked the initiative with the Club.

'Remembering Rovers' is free to attend on Rovers home matchdays at the Eco-Power Stadium and open to those living with dementia and their carers and family members.

A shame about the scoreline and weather, but still an enjoyable and insightful afternoon at the Rovers.
