97 Years Since Woman Won The Vote

On Wednesday female MPs from across the House of Commons gathered to mark 97 years since women won the vote on equal terms with men.

This is especially poignant as this time last year I became the 655th female MP to be elected to Parliament.

I'm proud to sit in a House with a record number of women MPs!
